Seattle Chinese Girls Drill Team
Chong Wa sponsored The Seattle Chinese Community Girls’ Drill Team upon its inception in 1952. The drill team continues to be a goodwill ambassador for the area’s Chinese Community. Today Chong Wa continues to support the Drill Team by providing a place to keep their uniforms, equipment and vehicles, and a place to congregate and practice.

Located in the heart of Seattle’s Chinatown, Chong Wa Education Society has been dedicated to teaching Chinese language and culture for nearly a century. Our immersive programs help students of all ages develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while also engaging in cultural traditions like calligraphy, arts & crafts, and traditional games.
Youth Mandarin Programs (K-7)
A convenient option for school-age children to continue their Mandarin education after regular school hours, if students with busy weekday schedules, we have our Saturday classes focus on Chinese language skills through hands-on learning.
📅 Monday – Friday: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
📅 Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Classes start from 2025 January 18
Tuition: $300 per semester (two semester total)
TCML Adult Mandarin Learning (18+)
An adult-focused program offering structured Mandarin lessons with an emphasis on practical communication and cultural understanding sponsored by *TCML programs sponsored by OCAC, Taiwan.
📅 TCML Adult Classes: 3 hours per week (12-week program)
Tuition: $360 for 12 weeks– 3 hours per week
Summer Language Camp
A three-week program that provides a fun and immersive learning experience for students during the summer months. No prior experience is necessary.
Come for one, two OR join us for the full three weeks with great tuition fee discount.
- Week 7/22 –7/26 – (Children’s Toys 童玩樂趣多);
- Week 7/29 –8/2 – (Chinese Character Crafts 漢字變變變);
- Week 8/5 –8/9 – (Magical Story Box 神奇故事盒);

Seattle Chinatown Dragon Team
The Seattle Chinatown Dragon Team was established in 1959, and along with its sister group the Seattle Chinese Commuity Girls Drill Team is sponsored by the Chong Wa Benovolent Association of Seattle, Washington.
